Hello again! I think so much about edible favors that will appeal to adults that sometimes I forget about the kids! Here are some fun options that will make the kids at your event feel special. They're so yummy, I bet the adults will want some, too!
Remember the ice cream push pops you had when you were a kid? Well, they're back, but with a twist... instead of ice cream, these are made with cake and homemade buttercream icing. Customize with toppings, colored icing, or a nice label on the outside.

Simply adorable cupcake pops... your favorite flavors of cake and icing dipped in chocolate... what could be better?!

Cupcake cones in miniature, so delightful! Put out a big tray on your dessert or candy buffet or use in place of a cake at a birthday party.

Edible Favor Buffet
I had the awesome opportunity to work with Dulce Designs this past weekend on a candy/dessert buffet for a wedding. Dulce Designs is a candy buffet company in Cincinnati, Ohio. Owner Angela Jolley creates beautiful displays of candy already, but needed some extra treats to "ramp it up" a bit and make it more of a dessert buffet.
That's where I came in and provided some of my edible favors to complement her already wonderful display... sugar cookies, chocolate dipped pretzels, peanut butter buckeyes, and mini cupcakes. With the yummy candy selections, the buffet truly gave each guest the opportunity to create their own favor bag to eat before dinner or to take home.
So if you can't choose just one favor to thank your guests (it's not easy because it all looks so good!), consider a buffet of many different treats. It makes a wonderful centerpiece that guests will be talking about long after your wedding or special event!

Welcome!
Hello everyone, and welcome to my new edible favors blog!
I LOVE edible favors, and I'm not the only one! Edible favors are becoming increasingly popular for weddings, showers, and all parties in general. Why? Because they're yummy! Actually, there are other reasons, the first being that they are highly customizable. Cookies and cupcakes can be decorated with your favorite colors to match the theme of your event. Some can even have your picture on them, like these super cute M&M's. http://www.mymms.com/ideas/yourStory.aspx
And the wide variety of packaging options adds another level of personalization. Here's a buckeye favor I did recently for a wedding... the bride designed her own boxes, very personal!
Another reason to love edible favors is that there won't be any left after your event! People love to eat and won't leave a yummy treat behind! Some will eat theirs before dinner, and some will take them home. But you won't be stuck with tons of extra favors like I was after my wedding... 40 extra pairs of bride/groom salt and pepper shakers. I wish I had thought of going edible with my favors 16 years ago!
And the third reason to love edible favors is that they can be very affordable. You don't have to spend oodles of money on an edible favor to make an impression. For instance, at my edible favors business, one homemade peanut butter buckeye with a candy cup in a stand up cellophane bag tied with your choice of satin ribbon is only $1.00. It's unique, affordable, and it will make an impression on your guests!
Thanks for reading today... see you soon! Here's a few favors I've done recently, enjoy!
